Antarctic Toothfish
The Antarctic toothfish, Dissostichus mawsoni, is a perciform member of the suborder Notothenioidei, family Nototheniidae. It is often mistakenly referred to as an Antarctic cod, consistent with the misnaming of other notothenioid Antarctic fish as rock cods.
